The Moroccan telecommunications industry is the most attractive in the North Africa region, indicates Fitch Solutions in a new analysis devoted to the sector. Morocco thus moves from 9th to 7th place in the Middle East and North Africa region with a score of 45.1 and a level of risk considered low. For this reason, Morocco occupies an eminent position in the field of telecommunications in North Africa
The Kingdom is ahead of the Gulf countries (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman). For Fitch Solutions, the mobile telephony market should continue its good dynamics “in the medium and long term”, operators being focused on the development of 4G services and the attraction of postpaid subscribers.
